Okay, let's be honest, Sarah Palin not only lived up to expectations but far exceeded them. She is a rockstar!! The Dems thought they would be the party that first would elect a woman to the White House and can't stand the thought that a conservative pro-life woman will get there before one of there own. It was supposed to be their turn and they are very unhappy that a repulican woman preempts their claim to being the woman's party. She is every person; not wealthy, not elite, not entrenched in the Washington mindset and bureaucracy. She relates to the middle class because she is the middle class. She relates to a wide constituency because of her personal life experiences that are at once both compelling and common. She is the new politician who breaks the mold of the "go along to get along" pol and sets the standard as a principled leader who will do what is right, not what is easy as a servant to the people.
