It is bizarre to listen to Obama and McCain try to out maverick each other. It is ridiculous to hear McCain talk about how he has worked for global warming initiatives and other liberal leaning issues to prove he is more centrist than Obama, and then to have Obama try to out conservative McCain by saying how the teacher's unions and environmentalist are not happy with some of his stands... Huh? This reminds me of the recent movie "Swing Vote" where the Liberal presidential candidate took conservative stands and the Conservative candidate took liberal stands to convince the "swing voter" to vote for them. It actually made me laugh out loud to hear Obama and McCain try to out maverick each other. Except it wasn't funny, it was ridiculous.
